A CROSS-STRAITS VISIT BY THE HOCKEY CONTINGENT FROM NORTHLAND SECONDARY SCHOOL, SINGAPORE

SMKDPB heartily welcomed the visit by the Northland Secondary School's hockey contingent to our school very recently. Our principal, Tn Hj Hashim and Tn Hj Sahadun, the senior assistant for co-curricular activities were at hand to cordially receive the 51-person-strong contingent comprised of the Singaporean hockey players and their teachers.
Upon their arrival, the visitors were given a tour of SMKDPB's compound and briefed on the school's culture and achievements during a slideshow session. After a hi-tea gathering, the audience were fortunate to listen to speeches delivered by SMKDPB's principal and the NSS's chef-de-mission Mr Brian Lui to celebrate the three-year old friendship between us.
Hopefully, this warm hockey relationship enjoyed by the cross-straits neighbours will open up a new frontier and possibilities to further enhance the development of the school's hockey culture as well as co-operation in other future endeavours as well.
