3 July 2012 : Located at SMK Dato' Penggawa Barat, Pontian, Johor, Johor Science and Technology Festival is one of the many events planned by Jabatan Pelajaran Negeri Johor. Apart from providing exposure related to the latest development in science and technology, it is also meant to promote and delivery the innovative ideas that can be accessed by the community. It is a festival that showcases science and technology with the same freshness and flair that would be expected from an arts festival. Events can be varied, including exhibitions, live demonstrations of experiments, guided tours and panel discussions as well as events linking science to the arts or history, such as plays and competition.
